This is the first single off the debut album by Beast. Hailing from Montreal, Canada, the group is primarily made up of the duo Betty Bonifassi (vocals) and Jean-Phi Goncalves (instruments, production). Bonifassi had previously provided vocals to the soundtrack of the animated film, "Les Triplettes de Belleville". Somewhat like Canadian trip-hop, the funky heavy groove is supplemented by Bonifassi's almost snarling vocals.
